1. License

Reelary is free to download and free to use for indexing and searching your library. When you buy a Pro or Studio license, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to unlock the paid features on the number of hand-activated machines included in your plan (3 for Reelary Pro, 10 for Studio). Macs unlocked through an App Store in-app purchase are governed by Apple’s terms and do not consume those seats. The Studio plan additionally permits commercial use.

2. One-time purchase & updates

Reelary is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Your purchase includes app updates released during your plan’s update window (free updates for 1 year from the date of purchase). The app continues to work indefinitely after that window; only newer releases require a renewal.

3. Activation & seats

Each license may be activated on a limited number of machines. You may move a license to a new machine by deactivating it on the old one from within the app, which frees a seat.

4. Refunds

Because Reelary is free to try with no time limit, refunds are handled case by case within 14 days of purchase. Contact support@reelary.app. Refund processing is performed by our merchant of record, Creem.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the licensing of the software. License keys are issued to you and may be revoked in cases of fraud, chargeback, or abuse.

6. Your content

Reelary processes your media entirely on your own device. You retain all rights to your footage. We claim no ownership and have no access to it.

7. Warranty & liability

The software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reelary is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software.
